I'll Just Do It Myself
This morning Little Man woke up and came to see me. I noticed that his hair was sticking up quite a bit on top and I told him to go to the bathroom and brush his hair. No big deal, or so I thought.
I kept waiting for him to come and eat his breakfast and he's just taking forever to brush his hair. I finally go into the bathroom and what do I see? I see scissors on the counter and hair all over the floor. No he didn't, yes he just did. He cut his hair that was sticking up. He said it wouldn't go down when he was brushing it so he decided to just cut the hair off. I'm kind of surprised that he being 8 years old is starting to get into so much mischief.
I look at him and tell him he could of just gotten his hair wet and then brushed it. To which he replies, "Ohh! I didn't think of that?"
Of course he didn't think of that because that would have been the easy solution. It's a good thing that he does have lots of hair and I was able to hide his "haircut". Now that just means that I'm going to need to take the time today or tomorrow to give him a more adequate haircut.
