Project 52, Week 8

Cabin fever is our theme this week. Can't really say we experienced cabin fever around here since it was warm, but Silly says it was too warm to go outside and play. His brothers did not agree with him, but here he sits experiencing his own cabin fever.

This was the temperature in and outside of our house. I thought it was beautiful weather and more preferable to be outside than inside because at least outside we get a breeze.

Project 52, Week 6

Theme for week 6 is "Drink Up". Here's my photo.

 

This last weekend I had a migraine and I was miserable. Pablo went to the store Saturday night to find some Excedrin for me and couldn't find any. Did you know it had been recalled? I knew, but figured there would at least be some on the shelves that had not been recalled. Poor Pablo was trying to find some for me, but to no avail. So instead he buys some Tylenol, dark chocolate and Dr. Pepper. Pain reliever and caffeine! Since I've been caffeine free for over 4 months what he got me was perfect. About an hour later I felt so much better.

 

P.S. Yes the bottle is empty, but I did not drink it all, I only had two small glass servings. Pablo and the boys each had a small cupful the next day, but before we could drink it all I emptied it. Remember I am trying to stay to away from sodas and especially those with caffeine.

Bad Dreams

Over the weekend Happy woke up in the middle of the night and came into bed with us. This did not make for a good sleep environment. Happy tends to seek heat, therefore he tends to invade Pablo's sleeping space. Pablo usually ends up with an aching back because of this. This time I thought it would be a good idea for me to be in between Happy and Pablo so that Pablo would not be so sore in the morning. Big mistake for me because I was the one who was sore in the morning.

That night as I was putting Happy into his bed I kindly told him how important it is for him to stay in his bed the whole night.

This was his response, "But Mom! The only way to make the bad dreams go away is by getting into your bed!".

Now how can I say no to that. Guess we scare the bad dreams away.

Project 52, Week 5

Theme for week 5, shadows. Here are three photos that I finally decided to go with. Two are of the huge tree in our yard. I love the shade it gives and how it covers the yard. The third one is of the view I have from my bedroom window in the early afternoon. I loved this project and the beautiful ways I looked at shadows this week.
